The Boss Is Back

Apart from dyeing and ’straightening’ my hair tomorrow, the look I want is complete. I wanted an eccentric hair style, as mentioned in previous entries. Judging by the hearty laughter given by those bloody twins (Guan Kai and Guan Yu) when they saw me, I may have achieved that eccentricity. Another indicator was Ze An giving suggestions on making it slightly wavy.

But to be fair, Guan Yu conceded that my hairstyle wasn’t commonplace during a later conversation, which involved him and his brother suggesting that I get dreadlocks. No offense but I have no desire to look like Tia Dalma (Pirates of the Caribbean - at World’s End), pictured below.

Tia Dalma (aka Calypso) of Pirates of the Caribbean

Just to fill you in, I met Ze An to witness his haircut at De Elements Salon. He wasn’t satisfied with it. I thought it looked no different from before the cut. We met the twins and bought his glasses soon after. Thereafter we headed to Orchard Road to shop.

Funny thing to note, though irrelevant. When walking around the mall, Guan Yu nearly always turns at a wrong direction. It really doesn’t matter if he is leading the group or following. I admit that I know not where to turn if I was leading the pack. Movements are unpredictable. But he was behind us. When we turn left, for example, he continues walking straight until he realises no one is following him.

That said, I shopped at Robinssons, without the company of Ze An nor the twins. I wanted to shop alone because I didn’t want input on my clothing tastes during selection. I bought a blazer, discounted 20% and cost offset by a gift voucher of S$50. I tried it on without a shirt at the fitting room. Here are the pictures.

Shut eyes, actually, I blinked…

Those three asses wanted to look into my shopping bag. I showed them the blazer. One of them remarked that I planned to attend the UN council meeting. Haha.

So, that’s it. I won’t go on about the drunkard doing some tipsy ‘kung fu’ stunts outside an alfresco bar. I do sympathise with him. In order to be that drunk, he must have been through bad emotional turmoil.

Happy Hari Raya to all and Happy Birthday to Nuraini!
